Wordpress logo on first time log in page and WP dashboard access for members

When a member initially joins my site and activates their membership the log in form has the Wordpress logo rather than my own log in page design.

My own log in page design is what normally appears, except when someone is redirected to the log in form during the activation process right after activating their account.

The Wordpress log in form which appears at this time works fine, it just doesn’t look very professional for the WP logo to be on the page rather than my own, so I’d like to fix this.

Also, is there a way to remove the Wordpress Dashboard icon/link from the top right of the screen for all members except admins? There’s no reason for members to use the Wordpress Dashboard and it’s confusing for members to have this available.

Hope someone can help

Hi Julia.

s2Member doesn’t remove the top bar, but there are other plugins that do. https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/admin+bar/

About the login page design, I guess you customized it with s2Member? WP Admin > s2Member > General Options > Login/Registration Design

After sign up are you using a different login page or the same wp-login.php?

Please try doing some troubleshooting checking the theme and plugins. https://s2member.com/kb-article/common-troubleshooting-tips/#toc-8503e1db

Let me know how it goes.
