Why has the form field width changed?

I’ve had the S2Member join form on this page for some years - https://sippclub.com/sipp/join/

The width of the fields used to be fully across the page on a PC/laptop. But now they are of limited width, not filling the screen on either a PC/laptop/tablet.

How do I adjust them to be full width?

Thanks.

Brian

Hi Brian.

That’s the form without any styling or formatting from the CSS and JS… I checked if your s2 styles and script files were loaded, and they appear to be.

You seem to have something, a plugin or the theme, causing the pro-form JavaScript to not work correctly… You can test deactivating other plugins/theme and refreshing the page to see if it changes.

You can probably try making it easier for you using this plugin, since you can do these tests while logged in as admin. https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/

Hi Christián

Good to hear from you. I hope you’re well.

Aha, I thought I might have found a clue in the Login/Registration Design. I had uploaded a 300px width logo, but adding a much bigger logo and resetting the width to 500px, it made no difference.

I’ll have a look at your link and see what can be done. My ISP has been trying to optimise the site, so it could be that he ‘improved’ the site too much.

Thanks for your speedy reply, as always.

Hi Christián

It seems the conflict was caused by Litespeed, installed by the ISP. He has removed it and the form is working as it should be - https://sippclub.com/sipp/join/ - thanks again.

Just one thing more, please. I found on the forum that you had answered someone about reCaptcha v3, the one that avoids the need to prove you’re not a robot or answer a quiz. You said you may consider it. Is it available yet, or is it still something for the future, perhaps?

Glad you sorted it out! Thanks for the update.

Not available yet. I have been focusing on the European regulation for online payments the last months, and it’s all I could do on top of the support.

Happily, I’m almost done with the toughest part, and soon I’ll be back to work on more things that were not as urgent.

Thanks Cristián.

It seems keeping a plugin up to date is a never ending task!

Great work - S2Member is superb.
