Welcome Email Conflict

Hi there

I am using s2 member pro and have run into a stumbling block after years of use
I am getting a conflict which is stopping my registration welcome email from being sent out for users who register via the long form created by s2member.

I get this conflict message
Conflict warning: You have another theme or plugin installed that is preventing s2Member from controlling this aspect of your installation. When the pluggable function wp_new_user_notification() is handled by another plugin, it’s not possible for s2Member to allow customization of New User Emails. This is NOT a major issue. In fact, in some cases, it might be desirable. That being said, if you DO want to use s2Member’s customization of New User Emails, you will need to deactivate one plugin at a time until this conflict warning goes away.

The problem plugin is AccessPress Social Login which only handle users wishing to login via FB. Twitter aand Google. Which is something that i need active, but i still require the long form registration too.

So the AccessPress Social Login sends a welcome email to users who register using FB, Twitter etc but not to anyone in the s2member long form… https://codecanyon.net/item/accesspress-social-login/

Can anyone with expertise advise me?

regards
Stef

I use “Social Login” from Claude Schlesser together with s2M, works well for me…

Thank you so much for your advice, i will give it a look and try

Just had a look, and seems great but pit about the monthly costs.

Hi Stefano,

You might be interested in a plugin that we have created - it sends all sorts of automated emails including welcome emails. In fact, you can create an unlimited number of “welcome emails” (emails after registration) and send them at a different time.

(Soon it will be able to send emails even after changing user’s role)
