WAS Working / Now it is NOT / SERIOUSLY CONFUSED

Our site was working. Different levels all seemed to be showing up for the right levels of users.

We are unaware of any change that could have triggered this, even though something obviously changed.

Currently, no matter what you try to access that should be protected by s2Member, it goes to the Membership Options Page.

When a s2Member logs in, it will not go to the LOGIN WELCOME PAGE… it goes to the Membership Options Page that we defined.

I’m NOT seeing that anything was changed by us.

IDEAS? PLEASE? We’re pretty desperate.

OK!

So… I decided to “reset s2Member’s internal Roles and Capabilities” and it all started working again.

NOW, I’d like to know why that worked.

Something changed. Who knows what. There are any number of things that could have affected the Roles/Capabilities in WordPress.

I’m having this issue too having moved my installation to a new server. I only get this symptom specifically on links to S2Member-files directory content only. Pages, custom posts are fine - but files are not. I’ve done the Reset under Membership Levels/Roles but no dice. Any other ideas?
