Want to offer discount coupon - not sure why it's not working

I’m not sure that I’m doing this right, so I’d appreciate some direction.

I created a coupon code called 10%OFF with a 10% discount and a ta-only in the directive in the Pro-Form Coupon Code Configuration section.

I added this - coupon=“1” - to my button, but it doesn’t ask for a coupon code during checkout. What am I doing wrong?

I’m not sure why I can’t get any answers to this question. Is this something that s2member can do? If not, I can move on, but I have been trying to get help for almost a week (this is my second, clearer post) but can’t get anyone to answer.

I’d appreciate any direction so I can offer a discount coupon for purchases.
