View or Edit User's s2Member access level

I am a novice / beginner.

I am creating a WordPress site for family members. There is no paid subscription or self-registration involved; rather I will verify the person’s identity and create a user account in WordPress.

I want to assign each user to have “Level 1” access, but I cannot find a way to edit (or even view) a user’s s2Member level.

Can I do this? Or am I trying to use s2Member in a way it was not intended to be used?

I think you are trying too hard! You can edit a member’s level by using the default WordPress method of editing that member’s profile. Just go to the list of users on the admin pages, and then select Edit for the member whose profile you wish to edit.

Well, sure enough, there it is under the Role pull-down menu.

I swear I looked there before, but tonight the s2Member Levels are showing up.
