With s2Member Pro currently installed on my domain, is it also necessary to install S2Member onto my subdomain as well for file protection, or, will my subdomain automatically be detected and protected by s2Member without any necessary changes, etc?

Hi Martin,
s2 will protect content served by the WordPress that it’s installed in.
If WordPress doesn’t serve content across subdomains, s2 can’t give that protection.
If you have a separate WordPress in the subdomain, then you’d need to enable s2 there.
