Anyone tried doing this successfully? I’m trying to set up integrate s2 with PayPal and InfusionSoft using Zapier to connect from PayPal to InfusionSoft.
As both Zapier and s2 need the IPN set on PayPal, I’m using Zapier’s webhook app to set up Multiple IPNs (https://zapier.com/help/how-use-multiple-ipns-paypal/).
I’m happy that Zaps have been successfully configured… if I test using a STANDARD PayPal button (set up in PayPal), I get a message back from PayPal to both s2 AND InfusionSoft. However, if I use an s2 PayPal button (a one-off payment button created using the s2 Level 1 creator) I only get a message back to s2… it’s as if PayPal is not classing the successful payment as a ‘Successful Sale’ which will trigger the Zap across to InfusionSoft.
Is the s2 button a different ‘type’ of transaction to a ‘sale’? Even though this is a one-off payment button, does PayPal treat this as a ‘subscription’ (and therefore NOT a ‘sale’)?
This is the second website set-up (out of 2) that I’ve tried (and failed) to get his working. I can get my set-up working okay with a STANDARD PayPal button, but wanted to use s2’s features a it more.
Anyone doing this/getting it to work?
