Upgrading s2 member framework

When I upgrade my s2 member framework…I lose all of my payment pages and all of my s2 member login pages.

Am I suppose to redo them every time I upgrade?

Do you mean update or upgrade to Pro? Nothing should be lost either way, but they are very different things and so will need different troubleshooting.

And what do you mean by “all of my s2 member login pages”? s2Member doesn’t create login pages.

I agree with Tim that it sounds like you’re talking about the s2Member Pro features rather than the framework.

Make sure that the framework and Pro add-on have matching versions, or Pro won’t be activated and its features won’t work.

I’m talking about upgrading the s2member framework…The second I do this…all of my payment pages don’t work and my member pages don’t work. Is that normal? It seems to delete everything.

I think you mean updating (to the latest version). Is that right?

Yes I mean updating to the next version…I lose all of my work when I do this. How do I stop that? Can’t I just update without losing anything?

Go to General Options -> Plugin Deletion Safeguards. It sounds like it has been changed from the default, which is Yes.

Change it back to Yes and then go the bottom and hit Save All Changes.

I checked and it is already on yes…so what else could be the problem?

I solved this but upgrading both folders with the same version. Thank you!
