Upgraded, but not paying the upgraded price

I have a member who had a recurring payment of $10/month since about a year.
She upgraded to a $15/month level a couple of months ago.
That has cancelled the initial $10/month, as expected, and a new recurring payment of $15/month was set.

I can see the cancellation of the $10/month, and the start of the $15/month, on the Paypal site.

However, today, a $10 payment went through, and NOT a $15 one.

Where is the problem? Is it a s2M issue? a Paypal issue?

Now, i get the confirmation that this same member has TWO recurring payment plans concurrent (which should not be the case). I just go the payment for the $15/month plan. That is definitely not normal.

I only use the Stripe payment processor so I might not be of much help but maybe if you post the short codes you’re using for the upgrade process, someone might be able to at least double check it’s not something in there.

Whatever the code, it should NOT be the case. Maybe that is a Paypal issue??

If you “can see the cancellation of the $10/month, and the start of the $15/month, on the Paypal site” then this would seem to be an issue with PayPal rather than s2Member. s2Member told PayPal to cancel the first subscription, they didn’t. I would contact PayPal immediately.

Thank you. That is the next thing i was considering.

I ended up contacting Paypal, but they would not do anything for me. I had to ask the customer to contact Paypal, and then, they cancelled BOTH subscriptions, even though she asked to cancel ONE. I had to give her another “button” to buy the subscription, and manually re-add the correct ccap.

Annoying, but it is fixed now.

So, now more problems with the form used originally?

Let’s just say it didn’t happen since, but since i didn’t change anything, i still don’t understand why someone DID keep both subscriptions. Maybe it was a Paypal bug? I don’t know.

Let’s say “glitch”, but that would be my best guess.
