Updated. . . .Looking for some help

Hi Everyone,

I am having something weird going on. s2Member emails that have the %%registration_url%% in the welcome message is being applied with a tinyurl link that states this when clicked:

“Your Link Expired:
Please contact Support if you need assistance.”

Update:

I enabled goo.gl shortener and now instead of the typical link expired it sends users to www.site.com/login//?action=register with the “Register For This Site”

Once the account info is filled out it says the account already exists.

Does anyone know what that could be?

Ross

Are you running a security plugin? Is caching running on the registration page?

Hi Tim,

I am running the iThemes Security plugin and Comet Cache Pro.

Ross, turn off iThemes and you should be fine.

Hi Tim

I deactivated it and now it sends the user to a page that says:

Your Link Expired:
Please contact Support if you need assistance.

So now I am back to the issue I had with tinyurl.

Ross

Is that a fresh link, or an old one from before?

Fresh, I deactivated the iThemes Security then I made a vegetable smoothie then ate it (45 minutes). After I was done I then created the new account and the link sent me to the old issue. My site did automatically update to the newest WP 3 days ago. It was after that we got hit with all the people saying the purchases do not work.

WordPress 4.7.3 Security and Maintenance Release, it installed on the 6th on its own.

I am just thinking of hiding the payment buttons until the users are logged in although that might reduce our sales and conversions by a ton.

This is the main attraction of the Pro version: you can use forms and have the whole transaction done in one go on your own site.

I just looked at the link it is providing and as far as you know does this seem right. Once it loads it is really long, like crazy long int he address bar.
