Ticked check box for emails

I am reviving s2member after not using it for a while. Unfortunately the ‘I want to receive updates by email’ ticked check box appears in the registration form. I want to remove this, but how.

Looking at the ‘Page Source’ code includes:

Yes, I want to receive updates via email.

Help to remove this will be appreciated.
