"Thank you. Your account has been updated." but stays at level 1

Hi there,
After a successful Paypal payment the Level does not upgrade to 2, it stays in 1.
I am sent back to the form with a “Thank you. Your account has been updated.” message so all seems fine, but the user has no access to Level 2.
I checked in WP the user account stays at Level 1.

I start the process as a logged in Level 1 user.

I read all topics and tried several times.

I used the Billing Modification Form

Are you doing this upgrade while the User is still in a trial period by any chance?

no, I don’t use trials.
Now I tried to use the buttons and it works.

Did you use the same User as when it didn’t work? The log showed the transaction failed because the User Profile wasn’t found. That doesn’t explain why s2Member reported that it worked, though.
