Team leader feature/setup

I’m setting up a membership site using S2Members. One of the desired functionalities would be to have the ability to set a ‘point person’ for the members so that as the membership grows, they can be followed up by different allocated members of the team.

In effect, the point person will be an admin user on the site and will act as a group or team leader for a given section/part of the members.
Although it will be more than one point person, each member should only be allocated to one of the point persons.

Has anyone come across this setup before?

I am not sure it does what you want, though. I suspect the only way to get what you want is to use WordPress Multisite. s2Member is compatible with that.
