Subscription downloads not working

I have 8 subscribers that have paid memberships. Their roles are updating correctly, but when they try downloading it redirects them to the membership . I tried with my admin and it is doing the same thing. I am using Amazon s3 to deliver content. Here is the link http://rhemacreativa.com/?s2member_file_download=_Secuencias/This+Is+Living+-+Secuencias.zip

When I click on the link it gives me a dialog that says I have 0 downloads and unlimited left.

I have double checked all the settings it just keeps sending me back to the membership options page when I click ok to the dialog box.

Can someone help?

Have you filled in Download Options -> Basic Download Restrictions ?

Hi Tim,

Yes I have.

I have it set to anyone subscriber level 1 and above.

Good. What specifically have you put there?

I have put 999999999 and 365 on #1 level and above

Try changing 365 to 1.

Just tried it and its still not working
Keeps saying I have downloaded 0 protected files and sends me back to membership options page.

Then I’d try changing the format of the link so that it contains no slashes after /?s2member_file_download=

In other words, your link above should look more like this: http://rhemacreativa.com/?s2member_file_download=Secuencias-This-Is-Living-Secuencias.zip

Still no dice…

I am thinking of completely starting a new install
maybe that will work?

Maybe. But before you do that, could you go to General Options -> Registration/Profile Fields & Options and tell me if you can see the text Add New Field

I ask because the only times I’ve had to do a complete reinstall were when that text did not appear and, in both cases, it necessitated a reinstall of the whole site, not just s2Member. (I had cloned the site using the cPanel cloning tool, and evidently it didn’t work properly.)

Yes I checked and it is there

Hmm, I’m baffled, sorry.

If you do decide to reinstall s2Member, remember to turn off deactivation safeguards first. That will ensure that you really get a clean reinstall.
