Stripe pro-form username

I wish to exclude the username requirement in the stripe pro-form as WP no longer requires a username to login and excepts email addresses.

Hi Brian.

Where did you see mentioned that usernames are not required by WordPress to signup? I had not heard about it and now I’m curious.

You may be able to login with the email address instead of the username if you want, but it doesn’t mean you can register without it.

But here is a hack that can generate a username from the email address, so the user only fills out one field. https://s2member.com/kb-article/using-the-e-mail-address-as-the-username/
