Stripe Pro Form triggers EOT after second purchase

Hello,

We sell online courses via a Stripe Pro Form that grants the customer a custom capability which lasts for a 1 year trial period, followed by a monthly subscription term. We offer multiple courses, each gated behind its own ccap, so we often have customers who purchase one course, then return later to purchase another.

Within the past few months, we have noticed that something has changed. Customers are able to purchase their initial ccap with no issues. But if they then go back later to purchase another ccap (whether during the 1 year trial period or during the monthly subscription period), it triggers an EOT, deleting any ccaps they already have. Sometimes, it doesn’t even grant them the ccap that they just purchased.

This is never how the software worked for us in the past, and this change affects our business model. Was anything relating to EOTs changed within the past half a year or so? Has anyone else encountered this behavior?

Thanks in advance for any insight – this one really has us scratching our heads.

Hello,

Anyone have any insights? We really need to get this issue resolved.

Thank you

Hi Sam. Nothing was changed for it, so I’m also surprised by what you’re saying.

If you haven’t yet, could you enable logging? If you reproduce the issue, please share with me the log files you get so I can review them. Wp Admin > s2Member Pro > Log Files

Is your EOT behavior set to remove ccaps or keep them? Please see if the EOT configuration changed from what you had before. WP Admin > s2Member Pro > Stripe Options > Automatic EOT Behavior
