Specific post restriction not working

Hi. I created a post in the Wordpress editor and included its ID in the Specific Post Access Restriction field. The message "already guarded by S2 Member appears in the post editor. But when I copy the post address in the navigator and try to open it when I am not logged, it opens! It should not open, right? Instead, I should be “surprised” by a message saying “please purchase access to this content” or something, no? If anybody can copy the link and forward it and open it at any time, then it is not guarded.

Please help.

Have you created a Membership Options Page?

No. As I want to sell access to specific posts only, I assumed I should forget about memberships.

That’s just a label. s2Member won’t work until you create such a page. It’s where someone gets redirected when they don’t have the credentials necessary to access protected content.

Hmm… The plugin instructions does not make it clear, I’d say. I’ll try that. Thank you!

Problem solved! Thanks again!
