Secured docments are not connecting to server or downloading

We have documents housed in s2Member that are now not connecting to the server or being able to be downloaded. Non-secured documents download fine without issue.

Issue:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection.
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

I tried removing member restrictions to see if this would allow for downloading but it didn’t work. Same issue.

Hi Dawn,

Do you mean files in /wp-content/plugins/s2member-files dir? WP admin > s2Member > Download Options

Where are you getting this? When you click s2’s protected file download link? Could you show me the link? Are you using the s2File shortcode, or how are you linking to the protected files?

Hi Cristian,
Here is a link that isn’t allowing downloads as an example. https://afexsystems.com/?s2member_file_download=/docs/AFEX_Industry%20Flyer_Forestry.pdf
They are just normal links sitting in an <a href behind protected pages.

Thanks for the link. That sent me to your Membership Options Page, as expected.

Are you getting the failed connection message when you try to download that file while logged in with enough access for it? If so, could I take a closer look?
