s2memberpro update broken (requires 160424)

Hi there, big bug right now in the s2member / s2memberpro update process!

s2member is reporting version 160423 however the newest s2memberpro wants to have 160424!
Please correct ASAP

(I hope I fixed this by changing s2member.php to 160424 - but not sure if there is a real version conflict or not).

Now I have: s2Member has been reactivated, with the latest version.
You now have version 160424. Your existing configuration remain

(while in reality I of course only have 160423) - please call the next update 160425 so people who manually renamed to 160424 are not left behind.

BTW - it is really bad that there is no download section where you can get older versions of s2memberpro. There should be somewhere a simple page listing all s2member/s2memberpro version side to side. That way I would know if I’m okay right now or not!

Thank you. I believe this is a temporary propagation issue on the WordPress.org side. There are a few moments right after we do a release where they roll the changes out to WordPress.org repos. For a few minutes, they report the older version while the newer version is being mirrored (or something). I just checked this again and it seems to be working properly now.

There is a link to our release archive from your My Account page at s2Member.com, or you can go straight to: http://s2member.com/release-archive/ ~ both lite and pro versions are listed there for historical access.

okay - now 160424 is really available. However - now I remembered - this is the second time this happened to me!

Really it is a major flaw that if you upgrade to a new s2member version - it will not download the correct s2member pro from dashboard - leaving you then in an not working environment (how shall you know as a user when the corresponding s2member version will be updated).

I downloaded s2member from here and from wordpress.org - but both were still 160423.

Thanks for the ARchive - however this really should be listed a bit more prominent. Eg. here:

instead of linking directly to the s2member.zip.

Best would be of course if s2member checks what version it is - and downloads the correct s2member pro accordingly. That is what everyone would assume to happen!

oh yeah - now I found it in my account. Badly my account was really not the place where I expected to find a link to the archive page.
I really expected something about download here: http://s2member.com/support/
or inside the installation insctructions.

Or include the link to the archive page on the failure notice of s2member pro requring s2member version XX. That way one could quickly repair the mess if wordpress.org is lagging behind (but best just have dashboard download the correct s2member pro - this is just for the case you cannot fix this).
