S2member sidegrade/upgrade options

I’m currently using s2member Pro.
I noticed that I can upgrade levels with the billing modification. Typically this means that the person upgrading finishes off their time with the current paid subscription and then starts on the new one. However, I’m offering different pay levels within each level. So if you pay for more time up front you get a discount. Is there a way for someone to remain at the same level but change the fee from say month to month to every 6 months but within the same level?

Is there a way to change the way the upgrade works for the different levels. So if someone is upgrading from level 1 to level 2, normally they would finish off the time they had for level 1 and then begin the level 2 subscription. Could we reverse that and start the Level 2 right away and when it expires downgrade to level 1?

“Levels” in s2M gives “access” to the users, not “time”, so in one level of access you can have members with different time terms. This can be done with “billing modification” to the same level. But I would not suggest - you will be in a mess… Better use several levels with same access, but for different membership time.

To your second question: I work on a plugin to do such thing, but not finished yet (I work on my spare time, which is not so much). If you really need that, please contact me on PM, so we can talk about possibilities.
