S2member redirection to the last page on login

Hey, I know we can set a page for the user to go upon login, however we would like him to go the the previous page he was upon loging in… ideas ?

If you are using s2Member Pro, the easiest way to do this is with the ProLogin Widget. If not, there are third-party plugins that should do the trick. A lot of people use Theme My Login, but be warned that there have been conflicts reported between Theme My Login and s2Member.

If you don’t want to go the third-party plugin route you can try custom programming. There are a lot of suggestions out there if you google “WordPress redirect to last viewed page on login functions.php”. I included the “functions.php” because a lot of the solutions that show up if you don’t recommend hacking wp-login.php which is not a good idea. I’d provide a suggested solution, but the one I had working on a couple fo sites stopped working a couple of WordPress updates back and I haven’t bothered to try and fix it.

If you don’t have the Pro version of s2Member, then I’d recommend the Sidebar Login plugin.
