I have a semi-complex set up and would be eternally grateful for anyone who can provide advice.
I am running a membership site that offers users files to download. I am using some JavaScript and HTML to create an OnClick function combined with radio buttons and a download button. Here’s how it works:
There are 6 radio button options
The user clicks ONE of the radio buttons, then clicks the download button.
The link to that specific radio button clicked is received and the file downloads from amazon s3.
Here is my problems - there is a “Free Trial” level and I want to give the free trial members only 1 download per day. From my understanding, I could simply put ?s2member_file_download at the end of ANY link and s2member would recognize it.
Currently, a trial member can download as many files as he wants and it shouldn’t be that way.
Is there another way I should be protecting links?
Here is an example of what I am talking about to give you a visual (although you won’t be able to download anything because you are not a member): https://www.allchurch.com/loop/loop-002/
