S2 Member Framework plugin breaking website

This just happened recently but my website is down when s2member framework plugin is activated (I have member pro).
I get the following message:
There has been a critical error on your website.

Learn more about debugging in WordPress.

Any ideas on how to restore website so members can use it?

Hi Lisa,

If you don’t have the latest release (v220421), and your site is running on PHP8, that may be the reason. Update your s2 Framework and Pro to the latest, and try again, please. https://s2member.com/account/

If that doesn’t match your situation, then please enable WP Debug while troubleshooting, and try again, you should get a more descriptive error that will help us find out what’s happening in your setup. https://codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG


Hi Cristian,
It seems 2 plugins were conflicting. GDPR and S2 Framework so I disabled GDPR - seems to be working now!
