[RESOLVED] Sales tax is no longer being collected properly: S2PRO, forms, reg Paypal

Really hoping someone can help here!
I’m using regular Paypal (not Paypal PRO, not Express), S2 Pro, the form method of selling …
Everything was working fine until the end of February, and for my first sale of March (today), Paypal did not collect the sales taxes correctly. I had to invoice my new client separately … not a great start lol.

I have all of the sales taxes for each Canadian Province set up in S2 (no changes from when they were working properly).
Paypal is properly collecting the funds (except for the taxes) and the client is being registered in their account properly.

This last client was a purchase while already being a member - not sure if that makes a difference or not.

Also I checked and the last client in February matched identically that both were Express Checkout, and Instant payment types. The last client in Feb was a new client though, whereas this last payment was an existing client.

Did you update s2Member after your last sale in February and before your last sale in March? If so, please open a GitHub issue and let the developers know exactly what happened.

If you did not update s2Member, did you update anything else? If so, contact the developer of the theme or plugin you did update.

If nothing was updated, contact PayPal to find out if something changed on their end. Something changed, somewhere. It is almost impossible that the code to collect the sales tax just stopped working for no reason. You need to figure out what changed and work from there.

It turns out it may be a bug due to the reCAPTCHA + logged in user.
