Re-captcha configuration

I iknow some people don’t like these but I’m reviewing the option. However, and I have free registration on my website, I don’t quite understand the config. This is what it says:

s2Member Pro-Forms for Stripe, PayPal Pro and Authorize.Net (including Free Registration Forms) can be configured to use Google’s reCAPTCHA™ service (free). Just add this attribute to your Pro-Form Shortcode: captcha=“light”.

Well my registration log in is not a page but a WP url eg wp-login.php?action=register - so, not sure how I can add the shortcode anywhere useful and just to confirm the registration page doesn’t show any captcha.

@enquirer32: Nigel, the documentation is talking about Pro Forms, while you are trying to add this attribute to the default WP forms. That, as you’re discovering, simply won’t work.

@enquirer32

Nigel,

You can add Google NoCaptcha ReCaptcha to your wp-login.php page using a number of free plugins on WordPress.org. This will not interfere with s2Member ReCaptcha implementation in any way. I’ve used this plugin in the past: https://wordpress.org/plugins/google-no-captcha-recaptcha/, but I’m not currently using it anywhere.

I noticed that it hasn’t been updated in a year, but it may not have required any updates. If that one doesn’t work, try another one.

Good luck!
