Protected Sub Folder Launches Index File in Web Browser to Private Internal Site

First and foremost, I would like to protect a specific folder containing a private sub site where when accessed it will launch the index file of said site inside the user’s Web Browser. User will not have access to files and sub folders inside this master folder.

The setup in the screenshot allows the user to download the index file - which is what I don’t want to happen.

Please advise.

Hi Don.

Check out this setting: WP Admin > s2Member > Download Options > Inline File Extensions

How do I implement the link in a Word Doc and/or short code? I would also like to hide it’s URL path in the address bar if possible This is what it looks like now: https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-content/plugins/s2member-files/access-s2member-level0/index.html

Sure, you can shorten the URL with the service you want. s2 doesn’t do it automatically, but you can do it if you want. It’ll just redirect to the full URL. Test it and see how it goes. :slight_smile:
