Problem with Paypal IPN http/https

Hi there,

This is about my page http :// hok-comics.com

I use s2member with PayPal and need IPN,
In s2member->PayPal Options->PayPal IPN integration it shows me https :// hok-comics.com/?s2member_paypal_notify=1 as URL. If I open the URL in a browser, it says “This PayPal IPN Handler by s2Member® is active & listening.” (so it seems to listen correctly, also the SLL seems to work fine).

Within PayPal MySellingTools->Instant payment notifications it also shows me: https :// hok-comics.com/?s2member_paypal_notify=1 but when I do a test purchase (real Money, not Sandbox) the IPN history details will show me “Notification URL http :// hok-comics.com/?s2member_paypal_notify=1”

The https protocol is suddenly gone!

I use a template with the PHP “do_shortcode(’[s2Member-PayPal-Button …” to create the PayPal button.

PayPal Support told me, that the notification URL can be overwritten by the API, so I now think it might be a misconfiguration I did on the WordPress/s2member site.

Any idea where to look for such a missiconfig?
I’d really appreciate any help!

The first thing I’d check is WordPress Dashboard → Settings → General: check the WordPress and Site URLs to be sure they are set to HTTPS.

Bullseye. Now it’s https. :slight_smile: Unfortunately, it still doesn’t work. But I’ll open a separate thread for this, if I can’t fix it. Thank you!
