Pro Forms and Stripe Not shoing up in pro installation

Hello, I just downloaded s2member pro. I have only used the free version successfully.

A cuouple things:

  1. Uploaded via ftp unsucecssfully. Found that the pro module.php didnt transfer…strange. I fixed it by uploading the module manually.
  2. Not all pro option are showing up in the dashboard such as stripe and pro forms(although it says I am using pro in the dasboard)

Could it have been the installation?

Yes. check that s2Member Pro is installed in the correct directory on your server as detailed here: https://s2member.com/kb-article/installing-s2member/#toc-83cb2813.

I verified the correct installation and followed the steps but I still have the same problem.

Check WordPres Dashboard → s2Member (Pro) → Other Gateways and make sure you have enabled Stripe.

other gateways does not exist

I know you don’t want to hear this, but the next logical step is to delete all s2Member files from your server via FTP and then upload them again. Make absolutely sure you upload them to the root of the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.

including the framework?

I did that. Then, did it again upon request. I get the same issues that I did with the original installation.

After upload, i get two error messages saying “Unable to upload “.htaccess”.
Invalid file name.”

The pro module also goes missing after upload.

I am going to try a different ftp application and let you know.

Check for plugin or theme conflict, maybe?

anyone? Please help. I do not want to return the pro addon

This sounds like a hosting issue. Who is your host?

On the other hand, why were you attempting to upload a file called .htaccess?

It comes with the pro package.

Using aws.

So it does!

But if you’re using AWS, you are effectively responsible for your own hosting. I’m afraid you haven’t got something set up correctly.

Well, thank you! What do you suggest?

I just noticed my php was an old version. Could that be it?

Perhaps. It depends how old it is.

I don’t know. I have never wanted to get into the server stuff. That’s why I don’t host with AWS but use a managed WP host who can do it all for me.
