Pricing Tables Link Configuration

On the s2Member demo, I see some price tables (https://demo.s2member.com/stripe-checkout-options/?s2p-option=1). I have read on that page the tip that states:

Tip: You can use plugins like Responsive Pricing Tables to generate your own set of options. The above pricing table was generated with that plugin, and there is a lot more you can do.

I have installed the Responsive Price Tables, they are very easy to use, but the button asks for a link.

Now how can I link to a purchase with Paypal for this example for the plans that I set up?

I was trying the Paypal button, but that is a specific code that is much more than a single link.

When do I gather this link that sends them to a purchase page for Paypal, or even order page much like the demo but with Paypal Standard?

That seem to have worked for making the link, I have tried both methods listed in that example. The output code that I am given is:

When I enter this into the pricing tables link, I am directed to a Paypal page with an error:

We were unable to decrypt the certificate id.

I only see one method in that KBA and the shortcode is not supposed to be entered into the pricing table link. You need to create the link using the method shown in the KBA and enter that link into your pricing table.

I tried that. The link generated successfully. But I still get the error on Paypal. It appears that the certificate ID is not encrypting correctly.

The short code that is generated is:

I still get that error on the Paypal side. So something is not generating correctly.

Do you have your PayPal account set up for encrypted links/buttons? What is the specific error you are receiving?

I am not sure where to set this up. I see on Paypal where I can make a button. But the following page is all that I see on their site: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/paypal-payments-standard/integration-guide/encryptedwebpayments/

When I make the html button that goes to Paypal just fine, but adds extra code made by s2Member for tracking. So I am not sure. But I don’t want to make a button, just a link to use for the pricing tables.

If you know where to go on Paypal’s site, please give me the direct link to turn this on or whatever?

I can’t give a direct link because the URL includes my account information. You can get there by viewing your PayPal profile - My Selling Tools - Website Preferences.

Well, since you currently have PayPal set to only allow encrypted buttons, have you tried turning it off? If it works then there is something wrong with the PayPal certificate set up on your server.

Since PayPal says it is a certificate issue, I’d contact PayPal and ask them what certificate they are talking about. If it is a certificate on your server, check with your hosting provider.
