Performance Issue with W3Total and Varnish cache in a large site

Hi, i’m using s2member in a very large site with W3Total active (without object cache). The site are under Varnish Proxy Server. Dedicated Server.

When i only activated the plugin (without any other config or custom code) the site slowly and the server load increase dramatically.

Any advice?

Hi Riccardo.

It’s hard to say from just that… s2Member doesn’t cause that, and caching would only help make it faster.

Can you tell from your logs what address is having that behavior or what is loading the server more specifically?
