PayPal vs Stripe Pro Forms - Why the difference?

Just that really.
We’ve been using PayPal forms and now want to use Stripe, but instead of a nice row of available Credit Card Icons, the Stripe form has an “Add Billing Method” link which I honestly think many members will miss.

Is it possible to have a Stripe form which looks the same as a PayPal form? Or at least one which looks nicer?

The difference is because of the way that Stripe works, which is via a javascript popup.

I am not clear on what you think the problem is here. If it’s appearance, you can change that with CSS. If it’s the text, then you can either use a PHP filter to modify it or else just create your own form.

Thanks Tim,
The PayPal form has a row of credit card logos at the bottom, and it’s very obvious what you need to do.

I can’t get the card logos to appear in the Stripe form, and the little plus sign with the message “Add billing method” doesn’t make it clear that you need to click it to add your card details.

I didn’t realise I could create my own form, and it’s probably beyond me, but I’ll look at the link you provided and see what I can do.
