Dealing with an ongoing problem of my member accounts not demoting after their renewal charged failed. This is only with credit cards - not with PayPal account payments. My IPN URL is listening and the change of https means that communication between PayPal instant accounts and S2Member is working just fine.
It is just my credit card failures that are not demoting. I got in touch with PayPal through Payflow manager (manager.paypal.com) and they said I have the wrong version of PayPal for S2Member. I’d like to see if anyone knows is this true - it seems like they may be confused with how S2Member is set-up. But I was told that my PayPal Payments Pro (Payflow Edition) is not adequate for getting credit cards to send IPNs to s2member - instead I need a legacy PayPal Pro account with DPRP (or just PayPal Payments Pro without Payflow).
Any thoughts or anyone dealt with something similar?
