Page Speed Tools Not Recognizing Comet Cache

Hey,

I’m new to setting up caching so need some help. I just created a new website (http://www.totalfootcareclinics.com) and set up Comet Cache’s free plugin with the basic/recommended settings. It looks as though it is working because I see files in the cache folder and I see the comment in the html, but when I use page speed tools like Pingdom and Google Developers, both say that I need to leverage browser caching in order to improve the website’s speed/score. What am I missing?

The free version of Comet Cache does page caching. That’s different from browser caching (which happens in the user’s browser rather than on the website itself.) The Pro version offers the ability to do that too (along with many other things). Alternatively, you could try adding this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/leverage-browser-caching/
