Members cannot see level#0 pages

For some reasons all my member suddenly can’t see pages with membership level #0 any longer. They are redirected to my membership options page always. Me as an admin can see level #0 pages. But all levels higher then #0 can’t.

Any idea what’s happening there?

So were there any new changes on your site too? Did you add any new plugins or have a server update recently?

Thanks for asking. I installed the plugins

  • gamipress
  • gamipress addon for buddypress
  • buddypress activity shortcode

And I installed bbpress for a very short time because I wasnt sure if I really needed it for my project (I have a forum on another website and decided to use this one instead of installing bbpress). So I deactivated bbpress again.

But: I can’t say, exactly when the error occured. No one mentioned it to me. The membership part of my site is very new. I recognized the error doing a testrun with an level #2 member account.

I deactivated all the listed plugins and did a test. But exactly the same: Level #0 pages are not visible.

Solved by doing this:

s2member->Other integrations->Update Roles/Capabillities
