Hi there! When we first set up s2member and Event Espresso 4, it had a great feature that limited membership pricing access to the duration of the membership term. For example:
- You have a membership that expires June 30, 2018
- You can see and access member level pricing for all events through that date, but for events on July 1, 2018 and beyond, you cannot access the member level pricing
- Thus you must renew the membership continue member pricing access on events beyond July 1
This kept membership levels high, as folks couldn’t buy the shortest term membership level and then just stock up for a year or more, which had been our issue before the EE4 & s2member integration (and there were plenty of people who voiced their unhappiness at the loophole closure )
However, we are experiencing a dip in memberships as suddenly people can access everything again no matter the term length of their membership, and I’m not sure what changed. I contacted Event Espresso support who said this feature would not have been from their side. I have not had any custom development on either plugin and everything is up to date.
