List Server Integration (other than Mailchimp)

Hi All,
I’m trying to integrate my S2Member Pro-powered website to an email sending provider that I’ve opted to use (https://emailoctopus.com) instead of Mailchimp which I had started off with.

When site visitors decide to sign up for the free membership, I’m hoping that their email can be added to an email list I maintain on EmailOctopus.

Any plans by S2Member to add some functionality within the " API / List Servers" dashboard that would allow other 3rd party mail program APIs and listserver IDs to be inputted (rather than just the default Mailchimp, GetResponse and Aweber)?

I’m sure this would be helpful to many others.

Thanks in advance!
Darren

As there are hundreds of 3rd party mailing list providers it unlikely additional ones will be added, as which ones would they choose and leave out?

It sounds like you need to get/pay someone to code something to add newly signed up members to your mailing list supplier.

s2Member supports API Calls going outwards.

I don’t know how to use it but you can find more information under s2Member >> API/Notifications

Maybe that helps?

Otherwise, maybe EmailOctopus has a plugin of their own to add anybody that’s registered as a new user on your Wordpress installation.

I use another mailing solution (I pay a small subscription for it) and send the emails directly from my wordpress installation. I tend to get flagged as spam when I send news, though. I wonder if those third party solutions are good to prevent that from happening, but as far as I know they were all too expensive. I don’t know the one you’re using, I will take a peek later. :slightly_smiling_face:

Did you try their plugin? https://emailoctopus.com/integrations/wordpress
