List Server - ccap integration (AWeber)

Right now it’s only possible to subscribe different member levels to an AWeber list.

(“New Level #1 Members will be subscribed to these List IDs.”)

What do you do if you only work with custom capabilities (ccap)? I only have the levels “free subscriber” and “level #1 member” as I plan to sell different online courses, that’s why I’m using the ccap functionality.

So what to do if I want subscribe an AWeber list to a certain ccap?

Is it possible to achieve that somehow/is that a planned feature?

I’m thinking about a workaround:

Is it possible to map ccaps to member levels (e.g. one buys ccap_course3 = member level #3), but only use these member levels to subscribe to the right AWeber list, and otherwise use custom capabilities for displaying/protecting content/pages?

Would I run into problems with that?

And to avoid possible problems, would it be maybe good to use a cron script once per day (or per week) to set all user levels to level #1 again (apart from the admin)? The customer would have been already subscribed to the right AWeber list, so I don’t need that info anymore. And I would not map level #1 to a ccap, so that no user would be subscribed to a list with level #1 if the reset took place. So would be just level 1 and different ccaps for my pages again.

Would that work?

The workaround should work, but I didn’t test it yet.
