Invoice and Welcome Email

Hi Guys,

I’m not sure if there’s something broken in my wordpress emails but i’m not recieving any notification/emails from the admin or even to the user when someone registers in my website.

Also, does s2member offers invoicing?

As to your email problem, you need to install a plugin to create an email log so that you can see whether the emails are being sent from your WordPress site and getting “lost” along the way or if they are not being sent at all.

If all you want is an email log, I’d use the Email Log plugin. If you find that emails are not being sent at all, you need to figure out why. Enable debugging and check for errors in both the WordPress debug.log and any php error logs on your server. If there is nothing there, you need to contact your hosting provider and ask them for assistance.

If the email log shows that emails are being sent, but you aren’t receiving them, then they are most likely being disgarded as spam at some point before they reach your email account. This is a common issue with shared web hosting (bad neighbors, you know). In this case, you need a transactional email service such as SendGrid. I use SendGrid in conjuction with the Postman SMTP plugin to manage transaction emails on most of my sites and client sites.
