Integrate MailerLite with S2Member

Hi all,

Right now we use MailChimp which integrates beautifully with S2Member – whenever someone signs up, they’re automatically added to our Mailchimp List. However, we’re looking into a lower-cost MailChimp competitor, MailerLite. Does anyone have any experience or know how to integrate MailerLite with S2Member?

Thanks

Could you, perhaps, leave s2Member out of the equation altogether and instead connect your payment processor to MailerLite using a zap from Zapier?

I know Stripe, PayPal, and MailerLIte are all available on Zapier. See https://zapier.com/zapbook/

Thanks for the reply, Tim.

I’ll look into Zapier more closely, but what I’m simply wanting to do is connect S2 to MailerLite – someone registers on the site (either paid or as a free opt-in) and their info is added to MailerLite. I’m sure it’s an API issue, I just don’t know the technicals behind how to set it up.

Geoff,

Yes, it’s an API thing. So either you pay a developer to write you some custom code, or else you use Zapier so as to make use of API code that’s already available.

After all, you don’t really need s2Member specifically to be involved. You just need to have your members’ details transferred over.

The one downside of using Zapier is that there won’t be a way of transferring details of free members.

The only way then would be to have s2Member integrate with Zapier. I’d love to see that happen.

Thanks Tim. I have started to look a bit into Zapier a bit, but I also realized the same issue you did – that free members wouldn’t be included.

Then I wondered if it would be possible to do this through WordPress – so WP to Zapier rather than PayPal to Zapier. I don’t know if this would work or not (haven’t had a chance to look into it or test anything yet) but I have my fingers crossed.

s2 to Zapier would be a dream come true! Thanks for your help thus far. If I get anywhere with this I’ll report in.
