I’ve noticed a lot of new sign ups immediately cancel after they’ve signed up.
I’d like to set a minimum term of 3 months and then after that they can cancel at any time. Is there a way to do that? I studied the button generator but couldn’t figure out a way to do it other than charging a 3 month lump sum which isn’t attractive at all.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean with cancel ? Cancel upcoming payments ?
Yes, they sign up for a month to month account and cancel within one day once they’ve reached their monthly download limit.
I’ve had the same… I think it’s because Paypal doesn’t process it properly in order. This is based on customers I spoke who all did something similar.
Well I’ve looked at the button code and there’s nothing in there that specifies a fixed term. There must be a way to make it so they can only cancel after an agreed period?
There is no way to “force” users to cancel. Or to ask refund. These events happen at payment gateway’s site, not in your site, so you (and your site, and any plugin inside) have no power to handle it…
