How to resolve Stripe incompatibilities with theme

I am assuming this is an incompatibility issue between Stripe Preforms and my Theme but having spent hours trying everything I know there seems to be a problem of incompatibility between Stripe Proforms and my theme. When the form is generated the Billing Methods button does not operate or function. There is no Stripe trade mark on the form. Also the short code generated does not seem to have any effect on the page. Have been trying for days to get support but email communication is fine but only if there is a response within a reasonable timeframe not hours.

Also as I am only wanting to modify an existing member so the proform that gets generated asks to re register. This does not seem like an update and is unnecessary.

Anyone else had issues trying to resolve Theme incompatibility with stripe preforms?

What are my options? I need to provide Credit Card only payments and am not prepared to pay PayPal their monthly fee as we are a small Not For Profit Organisation and not flushed with funds.

Have you typed the public and secret keys that Stripe provides into the relevant boxes in s2Member?

Have you “inspected” the code on the page by right-clicking and selecting “Inspect” or “Inspect Page” (depending on your browser)? Take a look at the Console and see if there are any JavaScript errors being reported.

I have a question about this section of your post:

What type of form are you using. For a modification you should be using a Billing Modification Form and it should not “re-register” an existing user. Note that they must be logged in to use this form.

Of course, I didn’t notice the date on this post and your problem may already have been resolved. :wink:
