How Do I Change My Paypal Account with S2Member?

Hi,
I have S2Member Pro. I currently have approx 100 members on a monthly subscription. I need to change my Paypal account, but I’m not sure how to do this in the smoothest way with the least disruption to my users. I have been searching the forums, but I can only find very old info that contradicts each other.

This one tells me that I need to do all sorts of things like deleting the subscriber number and manually check each payment is being made so I can manually end the subscription https://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/error1000-11546-profil-id/index.html

However, this one tells me all I need to do is change the Paypal settings in S2Member and S2Member will take care of everything automatically. https://www.s2member.com/forums/topic/if-i-change-my-paypal-account/

I don’t need to do anything especially fancy, I just want all future signups to be with my new Paypal account without creating trouble for my current users who are signed up under my old account. I don’t need to change my current users at all. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

If you aren’t going to close the old account, all you need to do is change your PayPal settings in s2Member. Your new signups will be through the new account and old subscriptions will continue to go through the old account.

If you need to close the old PayPal account for some reason, however, you are going to have to switch over the old User accounts to the new PayPal account manually.
