Generate a set username upon registration

Hi there,

I’m currently buiding a website about a magazine that will offer exclusive content for subscribers, hence the need for a plugin like s2member. The customer obviously wants to be able to purchase a subscribtion online. However for administrative reasons I can’t let people choose their username on the site because it will be their subscriber ID. It must follow a pattern ie AA12345. Is it possible to configure this possibility ? If not, in a more indirect way let people register with their actual name/company name (we need it anyway to deliver the magazine) and we can send them a mail with their username that we defined to log in?

The email and username are mandatory for registration. There is a way to set email as username too. With some code will be possible to set any patters you like. Well, at least I can do :slight_smile: Feel free to contact me.
