I have the free version of comet cache and all is set to clear front page cache everything is fine then from no where I get an old version of the front page
I do all the normal things clear cache and history but it goes to a new version only to return to the old page any ideas please I have read online about this issue and done all I can to resolve it
Just unplugged the comet cache and the problem seems to be resolved not the solution I was looking for so I must have a setting or something conflicting with the pages
Are you running some other caching somewhere, e.g. Litespeed? Are you running a minification plugin?
Well, you have W3TC in your markup, and you’re running MaxCDN. So have you deactivated the former and purged the latter?

If you don’t know what MaxCDN is, then I assume it’s provided automatically by your host. You need to talk to them.
I suggest checking your .htaccess file to make sure the other caching plugins didn’t leave something behind (or have your web host help you with that). Many caching plugins are notorious for not “cleaning up” after themselves and that can then cause strange issues when you install another caching plugin.
