Forgot/reset password not working for users

I’ve had users email me saying that they cannot re-set their passwords using the ‘forgot password’ process. I’ve manually gone into their user settings and re-sent them a link to set their passwords, I’ve even created new passwords for them (asking them to immediately change them of course), and many times, these do not work. Does anyone know where I should start looking to troubleshoot this?

I had a caching plug-in interfering w/ some S2 protocols. I had to deactivate the plug-in and everything cleared up. You could start there.

Check if emails were sent, could be that they are spammed or even blocked by the recipient email provider. Make sure they are sent with dmarc and dkim.
