I’ve had a bbpress forum on my site for years and it’s been working just fine.
I’ve just had a user complain that they keep getting redirected to the member’s welcome page and when I tested it for myself, I was redirected too.
I discovered that if I’m logged in and paste the link to the forum, I’m allowed access, but if I click the button to go to the forum, I’m redirected to the member’s welcome page.
Does anybody have any idea what’s going on and why s2Member thinks I’m not logged in when I click the link but is fine about it when I paste the link?
UPDATE: - I figured out what it was. The links were ‘http’ but the site has changed to ‘https’. Changing the links fixed the issue. Hope that helps somebody else who has the same issue.
