I have the free s2member plugin installed and everything was working as expected. WordPress was updated and sometime after that we started experiencing a problem with file downloads. In IE it works fine but in Chrome (and Safari on iPhone) when I try to click a file protected by s2member it redirects me to the Membership Options page every time.
Please help!
You have something else happening on your site that is causing this. I’d start by disabling all other plugins and changing to a default theme to see whether the problem persists. If things now work as expected, there is a conflict with one of those plugins or your theme.
Then reactivate each one individually and keep testing until you discover the culprit.
Apparently the issue was that in my links I had “www.” but the site is not using www.
