Error #1. User authentication failed

I am trying to use Paypal Pro (Payflow) to accept recurring payments and I keep getting the error: Error #1. User authentication failed. It is driving me nuts. I have the correct Paypal account and recurring payments are enabled but nothing works. Can anyone help?

Have you gotten this error and if so, how did you solve it?

Thanks Tim! That thread has the solution…but it was hard for me to decipher when I read it last night.I just got off the phone with Paypal and the simpler way to phrae it is that one must use Paypal Manager login details in S2Member under “PayFlow Integration” and not use the Paypap API stuff…so…

Payflow API Username is simply Manager Login Name
Payflow API Password is simply the Manager login password
Payflow API Partner is usually just “PayPal”
Payflow API Vendor is the same as the Manager Login Name Above.

It might be nice for S2Member to clarify within the installation, it would save a lot of time.
