EOT Stripe issue

So under specific circumstances I’ve been issuing refunds to people on good faith if they didn’t enjoy their trial, along with if I wanted them to retry the trial due aka elongate it because you can’t credit an account with extra days…

Anyway, I’d issue the refund via stripe, get an EOT email from s2member… but now I’ve discovered these subscriptions on stripe are not getting cancelled and the person is still being charged! I’m having to issue refunds for these illegitimate payments due to an error between S2Member and Stripe I believe. Stripe is not being told this means cancel the subscription!

You’ll need to cancel the subscription in Stripe once you issue the refund.

This is nothing to do with S2Member. It can’t cancel subscriptions inside your Stripe account.

You must do this yourself.

Stripe will then send another EOT to S2, telling it to downgrade your member when the EOT is up.
